Choose Letterly when text is the destination
Letterly is a useful candidate if you want to dictate into other apps, keep written notes or transcribe meetings. It stores and organises notes; describing it as a one-off rewriting tool would miss part of the product.
Choose Chela when the note becomes part of your day
A spoken reminder and a walking log serve different purposes from a polished message. Chela puts follow-ups, activity entries and personal recall alongside your notes.
Check the workflow, not just the transcript
Try a short note containing a commitment and a detail you want to remember. Inspect where the result goes, whether the date is right and how you retrieve the detail later. If your main task is writing messages in other apps, test that separately.
What this comparison does not establish
Free accounts include manual task creation and metric tracking. Voice notes require a paid plan. See the app for current subscription limits and regional prices.
Try Chela with one ordinary day
Record a commitment, log a habit and ask about something you saved. Check the resulting task, entry and answer against your original words. That gives you a useful basis for deciding whether Chela fits.
