Obsidian audio plugins or a separate voice-note app?
Obsidian has an Audio Recorder core plugin and a plugin ecosystem for additional workflows. Chela can be used for separate mobile capture, but this page does not promise vault synchronisation. Review a note and transfer the information manually in the format supported by the tools you use.
Turn Talk into TasksStop losing brilliant ideas.
A useful record keeps the details you want to return to: names, decisions, questions and next steps. Chela can process a voice note into organised information that you can review and search. State what matters in the recording, then check the resulting note before using it elsewhere.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I sync CHELA notes to my Obsidian vault?
Chela supports exporting an individual note as PDF. Review the note first, and check the export options available in your installed version. This does not promise Markdown downloads, bulk exports or automatic synchronisation with Notion or Obsidian.
Will CHELA mess up my existing folder structure?
No. CHELA acts strictly as a capture tool. When you export from CHELA into Obsidian, your existing PARA or Zettelkasten structures remain completely untouched.
Can it auto-tag files for Obsidian?
Yes. CHELA can extract semantic keywords and append them as standard hashtags (e.g., `#productivity`, `#marketing`) to the bottom of the transcript for Obsidian's graph view to parse.
Is it better than the native Obsidian Audio Recorder plugin?
Vastly. The native plugin simply embeds a large, unsearchable audio file into your note. CHELA provides the highly-accurate, searchable text transcript and a structured synthesis.

What to check before relying on it
Obsidian’s core Audio Recorder saves recordings in a vault. Transcription plugins may have their own providers, costs and device limits. Chela does not automatically sync a vault or install an Obsidian plugin.
